Access by Air
the nearest airport is Pisa at about 110 km, of which 90 km is motorway.Rome Fiumicino is about 230 km away, of which 230 km are autostrada and superstrada (non-paying duel carriageway). Both Rome and Pisa airports are easily reached by train.


Access by Train
Montebamboli is about 25 km from the Rome -Ventimiglia railway line. It is served either by the station at Follonica or at Campiglia Marittima. From Follonica there is a direct bus connection for Massa Marittima (F.M.F line) which connects with train times.


By Car

Coming from the North
arriving on the SS1 variante Aurelia, exit at Venturina and follow signs to Caampiglia Marittima and Suvereto. After about 800 m you arrive at a crossroads with the old Aurelia, turn right (direction - Massa Marittima/Follonica)Follow this road for 2.9 km as far as a group of houses, then turn left (direction - Casalappi). Follow this road for 10 km, passing through S.Lorenzo. At the stop sign proceed in the direction of Montebamboli. After 9 km you have arrived.

Coming from the South
- along the SS1 variante Aurelia, exit at Scarlino, follow as for Massa Marittima. After about 10 km, at the level of the Esso petrol station, do not climb towards Massa Marittima, but remain on the ring road. After about 3 km, after the second fly-over, turn immediately left following signs to Montebamboli. Follow the road (without going over the flyover) for 7.8 km and you have arrived.

Coming from Siena
On the SS 441 Massetana stay on the ring road, without turning left for Massa Marittima, for about 1 km, then turn right before the fly-over following signs to Montebamboli. Follow the road (without going over the fly-over) for 7.8 km and you have arrived.
